After a lot of searching I couldn't find an option for expiring debit card. I tried Lost or Stolen cards and got Donna. She was pleasant, happy and totally helpful. I have had no problems in about 15 years with M and T.

Disabled veteran, I receive benefits from our government. M&T Bank has locked my account, and I cannot access my money. They lie and tell you your money will be available as of midnight, and still nothing. I am writing this at 12:30 in the morning. My money is being held captive by M&T. Mind you, I have had this account for at least 5 years and these benefits as well. They don't even deserve one star.

They have all your personal information but won't give you your loan information when ask. Worst customer service for simple solutions. Please don’t bank with these clowns. They tell me that supply me with the info after 7-10 days and when you call back all you get is I’m sorry. Sorry is the correct adjective to Describe their bank!

M and T online banking has been “unavailable“ about 75% of every day for the past few weeks. A call to tech customers service and they tell you that nothing can be done except to uninstall the app and reinstall it every time you have a problem… which is every day. It is not just me. Everyone I know that uses this bank has the same experience. I am ready to call it quits with them and I have multiple accounts with them.

I have been banking with M&T ever since they took over for Citizens Bank. I had no issues with this bank until I moved out of New York to go south. There are no branches in the Carolinas and since we moved I had not had the opportunity to find a local bank. Since almost all of my banking needs are taken care of online, there had not been any issues until now. It has been two full weeks since I am able to log into my banking app to make deposits into my account. I have called to speak with customer service, and after trouble shooting my phone, making me delete the app and reinstall it, I was told that there is nothing that they can do on their end to restore access to the website. It is extremely frustrating because I have a few checks that need to replenish funds and I am unable to do so in person. This is a huge inconvenience to customers and any of the customer service agents I had spoken with was not forthcoming about what the issue is.

Guess there was a mix up at my bank. I always pay in advance, until feb 24. I have been past due for the last 9 months, but only 26 to 28 days (thinking paying in advance). I was never notified by the bank, text, email, phone call, letter..Nothing for 9 months that my account was past due. I got a alert from my bank stating a new past due account posted to my credit...What??? I still have received no notice of my account from M & T about being past due. I called, explained mix up and they refuse to take late payment off my credit. Mind you, this account has never been past due or even close, I should have been notified in JUNE 2023, but nothing from M & T. I should been notified they were going to report me before they did!!

Our mortgage was sold to this company. So my wife, who is in control of all the finances, had to call to set up the online bill pay. FYI this is different from the mortgage department. Now you know. Because I didn't know that the mortgage Department taking my SS# and name meant nothing to the online department, because the rep refused to give me info. It was like pulling teeth to get info. "I can't talk to you because you're not on the account" is all she kept saying. "Ok, yes, fine, please tell me how to get on the acct, so I can pay my mortgage.” Seemed like a question that I didn't need to ask. She just wanted to get me off the phone and was being a polite jerk about it.

These customer service people know how not to be rude enough to get away with it. Come to find out, they're in NY (I'm originally from NYC), so that blunt to the point attitude doesn't work for a customer service position. I just need the info she had because she works for the company, I don't. The supervisor was no different.

Purchased RV from Campers Inn- they recommended M&T bank for financial although I wanted to pay cash. Campers Inn wouldn't give me the advertised price (or discount) without going through M&T as they wouldn't get an incentive from M&T. (Shouldn't be penalized for paying cash.) Paid off the loan in 1 month and M&T didn't release lean so I could get the title. I called 4 times trying to get them to release the lean and each time they said they did. They couldn't provide documentation or proof that they sent it to the state and the state of GA says they still hold the lean so they can't print the title.

M&T bank doesn't have a clue as to what each department is doing. They don't document conversations. Their internal process requires them to send another "request" to the loan department - to send another request to the state. IT's all electronic and they say they can't track it, proof it or verify. Overall reviews for M&T is 2.0. If I would have known that... I would have given up the $2k discount and just paid cash. My experience with M&T has been horrible.

We bought our 1st RV at Camping World May 2023 brand new RV. The salesperson told just the lowest rate we would get is 9.49% APR a year. We are 8 months ahead with our payment. Paid about $6,300 & only half went ok towards the actual principal balance & rest went towards the interest. So I called to talk to a supervisor & he told me they charge me $9.19 daily per diem based on my APR. So they are charging me $275.70 a month on interest & the rest of my payments goes towards the principal balance $30.99 since my minimum payment is $306.78 but I pay $400/month & sometimes an extra $200-500 but it’s all going to interest first then some goes towards to the principal balance… The bank said that it doesn’t say it in our contract but the dealership should have told us!! So our contract doesn’t say we will be getting charged interest daily nor the dealership but the bank is telling us that…

So I’m going to be calling around to speak to a lawyer to see what I can do since this isn’t the payment & interest I agreed to when we signed the agreement for the loan. Also NO One should use M&T Bank if you getting a RV & don’t buy one from camping world. The supervisor said that they can’t lots of people complaining about camping world not telling them about them getting charged daily!!! So why not include the details in the contract… BECAUSE we would NEVER have purchased the RV using M&T bank if we knew this up front.

So instead of paying $40,222 on my loan I’ll be paying back an extra $79,000 which is interest… It’s showing as 98.31 interest charge on my credit report. When I tried to do debit consolidation they were the one to bring this to my attention. So now I need to look for a lawyer to see if I can do anything or if I just need to find a better company to do a loan with. I wanted to share our story. Just in case someone else might be having the same experience.

I went to an appointment at M&T ingleside branch in Baltimore MD on January 26 2004 which I was instructed to do by the main branch in New York when I called the 1800 number. Keep in mind I am a disabled ** man on a walker catching mobility. I did what I was told, has the proper identification and Samantha my agent help me to get a replacement card. Please note M&t has given me hell since I got robbed. They treat me now as if I am the criminal. I been with this bank since 1989 when it was 1st national bank to all first bank and so on. I just hate the way they treat me since about two years ago. They treat their customers like trash to cover them when m&t was known to support and protect their customers.

I called to inquire about my card and was told both times it was in transit. I called both headquarters and the branch and was told this big lie. It was not in transit. M&t sent me mail as if a card was in it and was NOT NO CARD. So I thought it was a letter to let me know it was coming until yesterday I noticed the line of glue sticky thing that was stuck to the fold of the letter indicating like a card should have been there.

I called around 3:05 pm or so a Sunday February 4 2004. I spoke to a ** co*cky woman and because I can admit I was angry but the anger was not towards her it was towards me being punished for m&t incompetent. She immediately took offense and defense and you could hear attitude in her voice. I hung up. She would have been the same if it happened to her. Do unto others and you would want others to do unto you. She immediately noted the customer need to go to branch. Because of her attitude and knowledge of me being disabled she was punishing me to walk because she stated her self that she was going to help me.

I am so tired of m&t, these incompetent employees on the phone, well I must say the foreign lady over the phone was pleasant and the guy seemed like he was trying to help but the note said customer must go to branch the ** evil woman wrote. I am a ** disabled man myself. I am physically emotionally drained to just get a card. I have went to two branches twice with ID. This is crazy. I am being discrimination against for reporting fraud and stolen card which m&t is having a huge problem with worldwide and penalizing Innocent loyal customers. GOD Please HELP ME. I CAN BE REACHED AT **. THANK YOU. DONTE **
